Last updated May 27, 2026

Sonner provides people-context infrastructure for AI agents. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Sonner you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email, and organization details you provide when you request access or sign in.
  • Usage data — API requests, search queries, and aggregate metrics used to operate, secure, and bill the service.
  • Public web data — Sonner aggregates publicly available professional information (e.g. GitHub, arXiv, public posts) to build the profiles the product returns.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the service
  • To authenticate requests and enforce usage limits
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse or security incidents
  • To communicate with you about your account

Data subject rights

Individuals whose public information appears in Sonner may request access, correction, or erasure. We honor verified erasure requests and propagate tombstones to downstream caches. Email privacy@sonner.ai.

Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and security purposes. Source payloads are re-fetched on a freshness schedule rather than stored indefinitely.
